Dr. Tasmia Hai is a dedicated researcher and psychologist with a strong background in child and adolescent psychology. She holds a Ph.D. in School and Clinical Child Psychology from the University of Alberta, where her dissertation focused on exploring the relationships between subcortical volume and executive functions in children diagnosed with Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD). With a deep commitment to advancing the field, Dr. Hai has published extensively in reputable journals, including the Journal of Attention Disorders and Pediatrics and Child Health. Her research not only encompasses the neurobiological underpinnings of ADHD but also extends to the impact of external factors such as the COVID-19 pandemic on children's mental health. Dr. Hai's work has been recognized through a multitude of awards and grants, ranging from SSHRC Fellowships to Alberta Graduate Excellence Scholarships. Her involvement in professional organizations, such as the Canadian Psychological Association and the Canadian ADHD Resource Alliance (CADDRA), highlights her dedication to the advancement of psychological research and practice.
